Terms of Sale
This document is a public offer by Arsenii Bandurin (“Seller”) to sell a Taleori digital product and, if you choose that plan, a printed book. Acceptance is successful payment together with the mandatory checkboxes on checkout. The statement descriptor is Taleori.

1. Products
After payment the Seller creates and delivers the product for the selected SKU.
PDF book — USD 8 (GEL equivalent on the pricing page; payments from Russia show a RUB price). A personalised story as a PDF: text, page illustrations, cover.
PDF + video — USD 11. The same book plus narration and a short video from the book frames. You choose 16:9 or 9:16 at purchase.
Printed book — USD 40. Everything in the video plan plus a hardcover shipped to the address collected at checkout. Print and dispatch start after the digital book is generated; order status is visible in your account.
Prices on the sandbox site and on pricing match this contract. The price excludes the payer’s FX fees and taxes in the country of residence.
Print does not include frames, toys or merch unless named on the plan card. Paper shipping uses the recipient address from checkout, not a default pickup point.
2. Price and currency
The price appears on the pricing page and again on checkout before payment. For the international card rail the buyer sees USD and an indicative GEL equivalent. We do not promise a GEL charge: the charge currency is whatever the bank payment page shows.
For payments from the Russian Federation via lava.top the price is shown in roubles before you confirm. We do not convert silently at click time.
Upgrading a finished PDF book to audio + video is a separate payment for the plan difference.
3. Acceptance and formation
The contract is formed when payment succeeds (TBC authorisation or lava.top paid status) and the mandatory checkout boxes have been ticked (age 18+, sale terms and terms of service, privacy, and photo consent if a photo was uploaded).
Returning from the payment page without a paid status does not form a contract. A failed, cancelled or expired payment does not oblige us to deliver the story.
4. Licence
After digital delivery you receive a non-exclusive licence to use the story within your family (reading, viewing, printing for the child, showing the video to relatives). You may not resell the file, publish it as a commercial product, or use commercial characters you added to the questionnaire in breach of someone else’s rights.
Rights in the engine, styles and the Taleori name do not pass to you. A guest link does not authorise publishing the child’s original photo.
5. When the goods are delivered
The digital good is delivered when the file or download link is available in your account and/or sent to the email used at checkout. Download links remain valid for at least 30 days; you may request a re-issue within 12 months at hello@taleori.com.
The printed book is handed to the carrier when the order status becomes “shipped”, and received when it is marked “delivered” or according to the carrier’s data. The digital part of the same order may already be in your account before then.
6. Payment rails
International Visa and Mastercard are processed by TBC Bank once internet acquiring is enabled. Payments from the Russian Federation are processed by lava.top (RUB, Faster Payments, MIR and Russian-issued cards). One order uses one rail. Details: Payment Policy.
lava.top does not issue a Russian 54-FZ receipt. Confirmation is your bank receipt and the Taleori email. Georgian bookkeeping is the Seller’s duty.
7. Refunds
Refunds are described in Refunds & Cancellation. In short: a digital file that has been delivered is generally non-refundable; exceptions are double charges, non-delivery due to our failure for more than 72 hours, and material defects reported within 14 days. For print: unopened parcel or delivery damage within 14 days of receipt.
We do not refund because “the story was not liked”: the book is made to the questionnaire.
8. Duties of the parties
The buyer provides a true name, email, phone and, for print, a delivery address. Address errors that prevent delivery are not our defect.
The Seller starts generation after paid status and aims to meet the delivery timelines. For print we confirm the shipping window by email and keep statuses in the account.
9. What the price does not include
The plan does not include frames, toys, merch, overnight courier, extra printed copies, licences for third-party characters or a teaching consultation. The video is a slideshow of book frames, not a feature film or a third-party studio dub. If checkout is not on a video plan, no video is promised.
Issuer FX fees, international transfer fees and taxes in the buyer’s country are outside Taleori’s price.
10. The questionnaire is the product description
The story follows the questionnaire: name, age, theme, style, companions, bans. We do not swap the chosen style after payment unless you ask. The unpaid preview shows direction, not the full paid page count. A longer paid book than the preview is expected, not a defect.
A third-party name or forbidden content in the questionnaire is handled under the Terms of Service: we may refuse generation; a refund only if cost has not yet been incurred.
11. Law
This contract is governed by Georgian law. Claims: hello@taleori.com. Courts and governing law follow the Terms of Service. The English page is for the bank and English-speaking buyers; for an order placed on a Russian checkout the Russian text prevails unless the parties agree otherwise.
